Property Association Onboarding Overview
Onboarding a new Property Association in Zinc requires the participation of two key users:
Master Company Admin – responsible for onboarding and submitting property and association details.

Board Member / Legal Representative – responsible for verifying their identity and signing the legal documents to authorize the association’s Zinc account.

Step 2 - Property Association Onboarding - Board Member
The process begins when Zinc sends an invitation to the Master Company Admin, who will log in, locate the new property, and complete the required information, including EIN, business details, and supporting documents. Once completed, the Admin invites the Board Member or Legal Representative to finalize the verification.
The Board Member receives their own invitation and follows a guided onboarding wizard. This includes identity verification and electronic signing of required banking and compliance documents. Zinc’s platform ensures all information is securely submitted to meet regulatory standards.
Once both steps are completed, the verification process may take up to 5 business days. When the property is verified, the onboarding continues as follows:
The Master Admin invites the Accountant or Financial Officer, who will be responsible for linking the Association Operating Bank Account used to collect all fees.
After the account is successfully linked, the Master Admin invites the Property Manager, who will manage the day-to-day operations, including creating Smart Contracts and issuing payment requests.
